Dr. Vyas was born in India and raised in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. He attended the University of Waterloo for his undergraduate degree. Dr. Vyas continued his education at the Medical University of The Americas in their Doctor of Medicine program, which he completed in 2021. He then completed his residency at Ellis Hospital, Family Medicine Residency Program from 2022-2025. While completing his schooling, Dr. Vyas volunteered with the Alzheimer’s Society of Kitchener-Waterloo and provided medical care in homeless shelters. Dr. Vyas has a great interest in chronic care, diabetes management, and weight loss.
Outside of work, Dr. Vyas enjoys sports, gaming, and trying new cuisines. A few of his favorite sports are hockey, baseball and football. His favorite quote is “Life is not the amount of breaths you take, it’s the moments that take your breath away”. His favorite travel destination to date is the Caribbean and he would love to eventually travel to New Zealand. With his knowledge and enthusiasm, Dr. Vyas is excited to contribute to FPCA and looks forward to serving our community for many years to come.
