Please welcome Rebecca “Becky” Goedeke, M.D. to our Woodsboro Office! Dr. Goedeke was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and grew up in Rockville, Maryland. She attended University of Maryland for her undergraduate degree. Dr. Goedeke continued her education at the University of Maryland School of Medicine where she completed her doctorate in 1988. She was the Chief Resident during her last year at the  University of Maryland Family Medicine Residency program from 1988-1991. After completion of her education, Dr. Goedeke then worked as a Medical Director in Hampstead, MD from 1991-2023. She has a great interest in preventative health. Dr. Goedeke is excited to start her new position with FPCA and help us provide excellent care to the Frederick community!

 

Outside of work, Dr. Goedeke enjoys reading and spending quality time with her grandson. She is a mother of three children that she homeschooled. Her favorite author is one of New Zealand’s best known literary figures, Ngaio Marsh. Dr. Goedeke is an Orioles enthusiast and a country music fan. She volunteers annually for a week as a camp nurse during the summer at Cedarbrook Camp of the Mid-Atlantic. Her favorite travel destination to date is Bermuda and would love to eventually take a River Cruise on theRe Danube . With her extensive knowledge and enthusiasm, Dr. Goedeke is excited to contribute to FPCA and looks forward to serving our community for many years to come.
