Additional Relevant Information
Dr. Fonjungo was born in Tiko, Cameroon. He attended St. Joseph’s College Sasse, Buea in Cameroon for his undergraduate degree. Dr. Fonjungo continued his education at the Universita’ dell’Insubria, Varese-Como, Italy where he completed his doctorate in 2001. He was the Chief Resident while at BronxCare Family Medicine Residency program in New York. He has a great interest in dermatologic, metabolic, pulmonary and cardiovascular diseases. As well as musculoskeletal disorders, infectious disease, and travel medicine.
Outside of work, Dr. Fonjungo enjoys watching movies and documentaries, traveling, and listening to music. Not only does he enjoy listening to music, he also is a MC/DJ in his spare time. Dr. Fonjungo also enjoys sports and his favorite team is the Baltimore Ravens. His favorite travel destination to date has been Negril, Ocho Rios, Jamaica and would love to eventually travel to the Amalfi Coast of Italy. Dr. Fonjungo is excited to start his new position with FPCA and help us provide excellent care to the Frederick community!
