Description:
Frederick Primary Care Associates is seeking a Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician Assistant for both full- and part-time employment.

These Mid-Level Providers will function as a part of the interdisciplinary healthcare team and will be responsible for caring for a diverse group of patients. They will work closely with strong, supportive physicians who focus on providing high-quality patient care and continuing education. Our continually growing practice provides health care to a diverse group of patients and families throughout Frederick County.

The Part-Time providers’ focus will be on walk-in patients in our after-hours walk-in clinic and will include acute family medicine, diagnosis and treatment of illnesses, ordering and interpreting tests, counseling on preventive health care, performing minor in-office procedures, and writing prescriptions.

The Full-Time provider’s focus will be on acute and preventive family medicine, including physical exams, diagnosis and treatment of illnesses, ordering and interpreting tests, counseling on preventive health care, performing minor in-office procedures, and writing prescriptions.

Candidates should possess a warm, friendly demeanor, good multi-tasking skills and the ability to work well as a team.

Minimum Qualifications:
Exceptional customer service skills, a strong technology aptitude, graduation from an accredited NP or PA educational program, current Certification, and a valid Maryland state license are required. Previous experience is preferred.
