Prior to becoming a family doctor, Dr. Lerner was a nursery school teacher and a psychology professor. He has also served as a primary investigator for numerous research studies. In his medical career he still continues his love of teaching in his role of being a preceptor for medical students. Dr. Lerner is also an author of a home healthcare book for patients called “Doc in a Book”. He is married with two children and a grandchild. His hobbies include gardening and reading.
