Dr. Durfee loves developing long-lasting relationships with her patients and feels privileged to have treated many of them for over 20 years. She met her husband, Dr. Dale Heitzig, in the fourth grade and they have two children. Dr. Durfee and her family are passionate about serving others through medical mission trips and have served Honduras, Poland/Ukraine, the Dominican Republic, South Africa and the Philippines. When not working, Dr. Durfee can be found exercising, working in her yard, volunteering at church or reading a book on the beach. She hopes to move somewhere very near the equator when she retires!
