After Hours Procedures: A physician is available 24 hours a day every day of the year for urgent medical problems and can always be reached by calling our office (301-845-6336). Our answering service will page the physician on call. To make an appointment, request a refill, or request a referral please call us back the next business day. |

Emergencies: If you are experiencing a medical emergency, you should dial 911 or proceed to the nearest hospital emergency room. Your insurance does not require prior authorization for emergency care. If you have an HMO plan, you should contact the office the next business day after your emergency room visit. |

New Patient Registration Procedures: Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to complete registration information. You must bring your insurance card with you at the time of your visit. If you need to select a PCP, please be sure you have selected a doctor from our office. |

Specialty Care Referrals Policy: If you require a referral to see a specialist please allow a minimum of 5 business days for our office to process this. If the patient has not yet been seen in this office for the condition, an office visit may be required before processing your request. Referrals may be faxed to a specialist or picked up by the patient. |

Prescription Refill Policy: Please allow 1-2 business days for refills of routine medications. Refills can be left on our automated prescription phone line (301-898-5025) and will then be called into the pharmacy. Do not contact the physician on call for routine prescription refills. |
